How this site is made
Julien Déramond writes Open {re}Source with a few contributors, on Astro, hosted on Vercel. A human reads, edits and verifies every published word.
Julien writes it, contributors fix it#
Open {re}Source is maintained by Julien Déramond since 2023. Other people improve it through pull requests: the contributors graph on GitHub is the up-to-date list, so this page does not keep a copy that could go stale.
The site is a static Astro build with a shared theme#
- Astro with MDX for the pages, the guide, the articles and the resources.
- The theme and layout come from
@deramond.dev/astro. - Hosted on Vercel, with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies (see the cookie policy).
- Internal links are checked with lychee and spelling with cspell, on every pull request.
The source is on GitHub.

Accuracy#
Every published page is subject to human review and editorial oversight. Pull requests are reviewed by Julien as part of the publication process.
Screenshots are captured from the products they represent, where applicable. Figures are checked against available source material and accompanied by dates where relevant. Information that cannot be reasonably substantiated may be excluded from publication.
